A new study published in the Annals of Behavioural Medicine found that parenting lowers blood pressure for couples. The number of kids doesn't matter but there are differences by sex. Women with kids had the lowest blood pressure over all while women without kids had the highest. Overall systolic blood pressures was 4.5 points lower for parents and diastolic was 3 points lower.
